'Chopped' Producers Seek Chefs, Eaters for Healthy Menu Makeover

Jane Street Entertainment, the production company behind shows like The Next Food Network Star and Chopped has put out a nationwide casting call for cooks and diners who want to turn their diets around.

The producers' latest competitive cooking show is holding an open casting call for people who need "a menu makeover," offering "a chance to have chefs transform your favorite decadent dishes into healthy culinary masterpieces."

Chefs who want to try dishing out healthier incarnations of recipes have a shot at a $50,000 purse.

Collingswood has been the focus of more than a few TV cooking pitches in the past, getting a visit from Bobby Flay to The Pop Shop and watching DiBartolo Bakery undergo a makeover on the Cooking Channel; Kitchen Consigliere chef-owner Angelo Lutz has even been shopping a pilot.
