OMG PD: Man Accidentally Given $3K, Puppy Stolen

Also, $20,000 in missing prom dresses!

Mo' Money: Police say a ...and that's the problem. He came to a teller with a $300 check, but the teller goofed and handed him $3,000, police said. When the bank contacted him the next day to say it had made an error, the man told the bank he'd lost the envelope, which didn't sit right with authorities. He's been charged, because apparently, this isn't really how it works.

Gives New Meaning to "Off Like a Prom Dress:" Actually, police say someone made off with a prom dress. A lot of them, actually; about $20,000 worth. .

Location, Location, Location: If you're going to pick a fight (which we don't suggest), at least pick a good place for it. The front of a state prison ain't it. Police say a man smashed a prison guard’s car window after he stopped in front of Southwoods State Prison to fight with the woman who was riding along in his car, according to NJ.com. He tried to get away, but as it turns out, there are correctional officers in and around prisons. Who knew?
