Frugal Family: Spring Redecorating

Since bargains are a crucial part of every mom's budget, here are the weekend's best local deals.

Spring is in the air. This means that most people are getting the urge to do some spring cleaning. In my house, this also means rearranging and redecorating our home. But, I could not and would not ever pay full price for my remodels. So, I've hunted out the best deals on home decor this week. Here are Patch's Picks:

Target

Deals:This is a red alert for all Target shoppers! They are having one of the season's biggest Mix & Match Decor events. This sale is going on in-stores and online. All of their home decor items are buy one, get one half off. Some of my best pieces in my home are from Target. They have a wide variety of tasteful quality items at rock bottom prices. Don't miss out on this deal.

Kmart

Deals: Kmart is having their annual Think Spring sale and it is full of blue light specials. They are offering:

  • 40 percent off swing sets, trampolines, and outdoor play items. 
  • $70 off grills
  • 15 percent off patio furninture

This deals will go fast, but be sure to check online and in-stores before turning your back on a deal. Also, be sure to check out their rain check policy.

Lowe's

Deals: This home improvement store is always jam-packed with deals. But, this week they have really outdone themselves. If sprucing up your landscaping is on your schedule check out this deals you can "cleanup" on this weekend:

  • Scott's Snap Lawn Spreader for only $49.95 and you will get a bag of free fertilizer, grass seed or Insect Control Snap Pac.
  • Kobalt 6 cubic feet Steel Wheelbarrow for $79.98
  • Kobalt 24" Welded Steal Leaf Rake for only $17.98
  • Sta-Green Crab-Ex PLUS with Fertilizer for only $18.47

Deals: This home improvement store is hosting a Savings Spectactular with deals in all departments of their stores. But, the appliance deal is the one that caught my eye. 10 percent off all appliances along with free haul and delivery, and 12 month special financing offers.
