Flash Dance Mob at the Green Festival: Hugh McGuire's 2nd Campaign Blog

"Aim Higher Vote McGuire", Collingswood Commissioners Canidate Hugh McGuire, highlightes some differences in canidate campaigns, and what he can bring to the table.

I have been hearing that people want to know what the differences between the candidates are. I am going to give you a clear example right now.

The current three commissioners, who have been in office on average over 16 years, came into the campaign with more than $35,000 in their campaign fund, sitting from their last campaign four years ago. They then had a political fundraiser where they charged $500 for a gold sponsor to raise even more money.

That is the same old, same old... wasteful political machine we've seen for too many years.

I came into the campaign with 35¢. Guess what! We are doing Flash Dance Mobs at the Green Fest, didn’t cost you a dime, was done by a great bunch of volunteers, and we had a blast doing it!!

That’s fun!

More importantly that’s innovation.

That’s what I can bring as a Borough Commissioner. Innovation, fresh financial eyes, new ways of getting things done without wasting money or using these tax abatement PILOT programs that hurt our schools.

“Aim Higher Vote McGuire” and have yourself a great day.
