Louis Pecsi's style is difficult to pin down. Five to seven years ago, digital painting first caught his interest. He was instantly captivated by the flexibility of the medium. His first attempts at creating art in the medium were via a mouse and Photoshop, but with experimentation moved to a tablet and digital pen.
Five years ago, a car accident nearly took Louis' life and as a part of his therapy, he wrote and drew his first graphic novel, Nosferatu the Untold Origin, which took several years to complete. His follow-up novel, The Awakened Poe, integrates several of Poe's stories with Louis' art.
Beyond graphic novels, Louis is attracted to the surreal and abstract possibilities of digital media and is constantly trying to grow in other areas of art as well (like acrylic painting, created FX work for independent films, sculpting and charcoal.)
