Another restaurant week kicks off, as does a still-life gallery opening. Plus: network your way to a free lunch, belt out the showtunes, and take in a free movie.

1. Homestyle Classics Restaurant Week

Monday, Jan. 21—Saturday, Jan. 26 at Casona, El Sitio, Pop Shop, That's Amore and Tortilla Press

Well, there's no Mac-Off this year (boo!—Ed.), but in lieu of that, five of Collingswood's homiest kitchens are collaborating to bring you a multi-course, prix fixe comfort-food jamboree. 2. Collingswood Movie Club

Tuesday, Jan. 22, 6-8 p.m.—Collingswood Public Library

Led by Patch film blogger Bob Castle, Collingswood Movie Night welcomes cinema fans of every stripe on the fourth Tuesday of the month at the Collingswood Library. Note the change in time. Get a brief introduction to the film, a fun chat after, and light refreshments. It's free!

Tuesday's showing is the "voodoo noir" film Angel Heart, starring Mickey Rourke.

3. Business Networking International Meeting

Wednesday, Jan. 23 at 11:30 a.m.—20 W. Atlantic Ave., Audubon (The Kove, formerly Thommy G's)

The Collingswood-based chapter of Business Networking International (BNI) invites "individuals who will bring enthusiasm and integrity to our meeting." The 30-member group is looking for fresh blood, and will buy lunch for first-timers. 4. Still Life in Winter Exhibition

Wednesday, Jan. 23 at 1:30 p.m.—Gallery at 792 Haddon Ave.

Opening Wednesday, the works of local artists Karen Titus SmithDolores Poacelli and others in "a large still life installation" with artifacts on loan from places like Ellis Antiques and Dig This. Workshops and open painting sessions will coincide with this exhibition, which runs through Feb. 24.

5. Karaoke - It's Showtime!

Friday, Jan. 25 at 8:30 p.m.—Grooveground

"Leave all stage fright and winter blues at the door, and come belt out showtunes with us as Grooveground presents a night of show stopping delight and merriment!"
