  • Bliss Body Studio—616 Collings Ave., Collingswood—is hosting a Drum Healing Circle, open to all ages. Bring the kids and experience the power of percussion beats. The evening will end with an exhilarating medicine drumming session.

*This is a Frugal Friday event, because it's free! Donations to the Bliss Body Studio are greatly appreciated, but not required.

  • First Friday—Haddonfield—It’s that time again! First Fridays are arriving in style this spring season. Visit downtown Haddonfield and check out curbside artists, live entertainment and—weather permitting—a kick-off to al-fresco dining at the most delicious of Haddonfield's restaurants. Visit the town's Shop Haddonfield First Friday website for a full list of entertainment and participating restaurants.

*This event can go one of two ways! It could be a Frugal Friday event if you can keep yourself away from all the fabulous shops and restaurants. But, you’ll regret it if you don’t! Treat yourself—you deserve it.

  • Johnson's Farm—133 Church Rd., Medford—is celebrating the opening of springtime with a fabulous Welcome Back Bash. Johnson's welcomes all patrons—new or old—to visit the farm this weekend for free hot dogs and hayrides. Johnson’s Farm offers many other activities for a variety of age groups, including an on-site playground, delicious home-baked goods available at the country-style market, old-fashioned penny candy, and, my family’s favorite: the salty-sugary goodness of Johnson's kettle corn.

*This event is a Saturday and Sunday Steal! Free hot dogs, hayrides, and admission to the Discovery Barnyard and Animal Farm are included!

  • Easter Bunny Welcome Celebration—Voorhees Town Center, 2120 Voorhees Town Center, Voorhees—is welcoming the Easter Bunny in style this Saturday from 1 to 3 p.m. Join Ms. Lisa at 1 p.m. for Story Time in front of the Boscov’s store, and then help the Easter Bunny stroll down the center to Macy’s Court, where you can have your child’s picture taken with the most famous bunny in the land. From 1:30 to 3 p.m., enjoy children’s crafts, face painting, games and prizes from vendors in and around the town center. Also, head over the Macy’s children’s department and let your children decorate their own plastic eggs (while supplies last).

*This event is a Saturday Steal! All of the events—excluding the purchase of Easter Bunny photos—are free. “Hop” on over to Voorhees this weekend to take advantage of these frugally-fun festivities.

  • Franklin Square—Sixth and Race streets, Philadelphia—Help kick off the season on opening day this Friday, from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Take a short ride over the bridge and enjoy beautiful, historic Franklin Square, Philadelphia. And the kids will love riding the Philadelphia Park Liberty Carousel, or playing in one of the fun playgrounds. But if the whole family can make it, head over and enjoy Philadelphia-themed miniature golf together. Then, be sure to stop by Philly's most delicious burger joint, Square Burger by Starr Restaurant.

*A Frugal Friday event for sure! The carousel tickets are just $2.50 for children ages two and older—and children under two are free! And the 18-hole miniature golf course is only $8 for kids ages 13 and up, and $6 for children ages three through 12.
