Five Things for This Week: Halloween Edition

The borough is celebrating the season with tricks and treats throughout the week.

1. Halloween Dance Party

Wed., Oct. 24 — 5:30–8 p.m. - The Pop Shop

"Big and little kids can dance and have a scary-good time. Costumed kids 16 and under receive $1.00 off their meal and will have a chance to win a complimentary dinner for free. Bring your mummy and dad, too!"

2. Trunk or Treat

Wed., Oct. 24 — 6–8 p.m. - First United Methodist Church

"There will be lots of cleverly decorated cars and trunks overflowing with all things sweet and chewy. Hotdogs, popcorn and lemonade with be provided at no charge. Plus, free goodie bags for those who attend!"

4. Zombie Chase 5K Run and Family Walk

Sat., Oct. 27 — 8:30 p.m. - Knight Park

"Second annual 5K Run to benefit the James A Garfield Elementary School PTA. Dress in costume or dress in runner's gear - just come dressed and bring the family for a fun walk with trick or treating!"

5. Happy Doggone Halloween "Pupkin" Event

Sat., Oct. 27 — 11:30 a.m. - Collingswood Manor

"Dress up your pooch and register for the "pupkin" parade. Or, just come and watch the fun!...There will be a K-9 demonstration, music, food, celebrity judges and awards for the best-dressed, most original, scariest, femme fatale, macho pooch. The top prize of $75 goes to best master and pupkin combo! $5.00 registration fee benefits PetPals of SNJ."
