Collingswood School Board Meeting Tonight, 7 p.m.

It's the final meeting of the body before the 2013-14 school year begins.

After a summer break, the Collingswood Board of Education will meet for the final time before the beginning of the 2013-14 school year.

The meeting will be held at 7 p.m. Monday in the all-purpose room at Zane North Elementary School. The agenda is available to preview here.

Doubtless at least some portion of the public comment portion of the evening will be dedicated to discussion of the lawsuit filed by former boys basketball coach Joseph McLoughlin accusing the district of bias retaliation in his non-rehiring.

McLoughlin's attorney and supporters leveled many of those same charges against the district in one form or another at a handful of public meetings last year. So far, the Board has directed all inquiries for comment to its solicitor, Joseph Betley of Capehart Scatchard.
