Collingswood Farmers Market Needs Volunteers

Come on, you're gonna be there every weekend anyway!

Although the May 4, 2013, opening date seems far off, it's closer than fans of the Collingswood Farmers Market.

The nonprofit organization is run by civic volunteers, and it's looking for a few extra-helpful hands this season.

Volunteers help support musical acts, sell Market merchandise, support special events and cooking demos. There's even an opportunity to help repaint some of the aging directional signs that orient visitors to the event.

If you're interested in supporting the popular weekend event as it enters its 14th year, drop a line to anne_carroll@comcast.net. There's an informational brunch scheduled for April 7.
