Oaklyn Man Fatally Stabbed, Woman Arrested

An Oaklyn man fatally stabbed Sunday in his home was murdered, authorities say, and a woman is under arrest for the homicide.

Kafarr Logan-Horton, 33, was stabbed once in his home on the 200 block of West Clinton Avenue Sunday afternoon. He died two hours later at 2:37 p.m. at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital in Camden.

Shakeysha Pruitt, 24, is charged with murder in Logan-Horton’s death. The West Berlin woman was arrested Tuesday evening by Oaklyn Police and the county prosecutor’s office detectives.

Authorities did not release information on the Sunday homicide until Wednesday midday.

Police say Pruitt was angry with Logan-Horton while in his home, got a knife from the kitchen and stabbed him.

Pruitt accompanied Logan-Horton to the hospital, but left without telling police. Detectives found her at her parents’ home Tuesday.

Pruitt will be arraigned on the murder charge Wednesday afternoon in Superior Court in Camden.
