Born in Egg Harbor Township, NJ, Rachel draws most of her inspiration from her childhood spent enjoying nature and creating. She works mostly in oils and acrylics, but occasionally utilizes clay, wire, and natural found objects to convey the constant themes of her work: movement and growth. Rachel considers these themes to be a personal reflection of her continuous desire to learn, change, and develop both artistically and personally.
She finds beauty in all that surrounds her, from a rusty nail to a blossoming tree and all things in between. Her hope is that others will see this beauty, too.
