Civil War Women

To commemorate the 150th anniversary of the Civil War, The Collings-Knight House
is hosting several programs on the  great conflict. On September 14th, Susan
Christides will speak about the US Sanitary Commission and Great Central Fair in
Philadelphia, and the roles adopted by women during the war. There will be period clothing, fascinating facts
and refreshments. The program is free and open to history lovers of all ages.
