R.I.P. Marie Fowler, 19

Sympathies are pouring in for the Oaklyn teenager, who apparently lost her battle with leukemia Thursday.

Social media reports are announcing that Marie Fowler of Oaklyn, a 2011 Collingswood High School graduate, has died.

Condolences are pouring in for the teenager whose story reverberated throughout the Internet last week, as .

"Kellin Meet Marie," the same Facebook page that helped promote the meetup between Fowler and her favorite musician, broke the news Thursday.

Heaven received its most precious present today: Marie Fowler. No one will ever forget how inspirational and beautiful she was and forever will be. Marie kicked cancer's ass. She is a survivor.

Fowler's struggles with leukemia cost her the opportunity to walk with her graduating class in 2011. After taking a year off to recover, she was honored with a standing ovation from the class of 2012.

Earlier this year, Fowler underwent a double-donor transfusion to treat her illness, which seemed to enter into remission. But recently, the teenager discovered that her disease had returned, and she was transferred to hospice care last week.

Fowler was 19.
