Children's 'Freedom March' on Martin Luther King Day of Service 2014

Take a look at photos from the event, in which kids made posters celebrating their favorite freedoms, as part of the Martin Luther King Day of Service.

Children considered the messages of Martin Luther King at a free Day of Service and activity camp organized in downtown Oaklyn on Monday.

With public schools closed, children observed King's birthday with song and dance performances, art projects, and volunteer efforts coordinated by the nonprofit Community Rocks!, which is headquartered at Studio LuLoo in Oaklyn.

Organizer Sara O'Brien led children on a "freedom march" to a final reception at the Oaklyn Baptist Church, where kids had a birthday cake for King and shared experiences of their day.
