Amanda Hinski, Neighbor

Amanda Hinski is a Rowan University student majoring in Writing Arts, who will graduate in December of 2011. While in school, Hinski writes for several blogs, one of which focuses on eco-friendly inventions and innovations—a perfect gig for the writer, who, in addition to writing about it, encourages nature and energy conservation through her participation in Adventures for Women, an outdoor club that develops confidence in women through activities such as hiking, backpacking, and mountain climbing.

A frequent visitor of Collingswood, Hinski can usually be found getting a caffeine fix at Grooveground, dining at Woksabi Japanese Restaurant, or enjoying the scenic outdoors at The Knight Park. Hinski is also an active supporter of Collingswood's rich fine and performing arts culture, and is involved with various recreational outlets in town.
