Local Shops Find the Joy in Old Toys
These stores carry everything from vintage action figures to old-school video games.
You're never too old to be a kid, at least at local independent toy shops like Brad's Toy Room and the House of Fun. Since Brad's opened on Oct. 1, "our customers have largely been early-year teens, mid-thirties men and young children," said 32-year-old Mandi Bricker, who owns Brad's Toy Room with her husband, 36-year-old Brad Bricker Jr. The shop's vintage appeal is what attracts an older demographic, said Mandi Bricker, of Cherry Hill.
