A family friend of Sukhvinder Singh, 33, of Chesilhurst, hopes the offer will help lead to the safe recovery of the gas station attendant, last seen in Winslow Twp.
After searching for three weeks, friends of Sukhvinder Singh are offering a $5,000 reward for information leading to his safe recovery, according to a statement issued by the Camden County Prosecutor's Office today. Singh, 33, of Chesilhurst, was last seen around 7:30 p.m. Sept. 18 at the BP (now Valero) gas station on the White Horse Pike in Winslow—which was left unattended at the time of his disappearance. Authorities have been seeking him since then. "Singh is described as an Indian male, 5-feet-7-inches tall, 170 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes," according to the statement. Craig Pittman, a man who dropped her off in Bridgeton, was charged with promoting prostitution, according to the Camden County Prosecutor's Office
Lisa Fago, 24, of Erial, NJ, who allegedly texted family that she'd been abducted from Camden City and taken to New York against her will, was located in Bridgeton, NJ, Thursday night. A statement from the Camden County Prosecutor's Office said that Fago had indeed been to New York City, "but there was not evidence available to law enforcement to sustain her allegations...that she had been brought there against her will." The announcement also reported that Fago "appeared to be in good health when contacted by police." The man who dropped her off in Bridgeton, however, was charged with promoting prostitution. Fago, who was last seen Monday in Camden City, may have texted friends and family that she was abducted against her will and taken to New York City.
Camden City police are seeking any information in the disappearance of Lisa Fago, 24, of Erial, who was reported missing Saturday, Sept. 29. Fago was last seen Sept. 24, near the 600 block of Mount Vernon Street in Camden. Her family told authorities they have received text messages from Fago, saying she had been abducted from Camden City and taken to New York City against her will. Those close to Fago say the 24-year-old was captured in the city, near Kaighn Avenue, between 6th Street and Broadway. Authorities have not confirmed this information, and her whereabouts remained unknown late Saturday evening. Kayla and Jeremiah Maven returned home Thursday, authorities say, but there is still no word on Sukhvinder Singh, who was last seen Tuesday night.
UPDATE - 8:20 p.m., Sept. 20: Kayla Maven and her 2-month-old son returned to their Sicklerville home early Thursday afternoon, police said. The 16-year-old girl and her infant child were healthy. Gloucester Township Police Juvenile Investigations Unit and the state Division of Youth and Family Services are looking into the incident.
