Most robbers put on a mask or hoodie—not dress up like someone from the Village People to stick up a bank. The FBI and Camden County Prosecutor’s Office are searching for a pair of bank robbers, one dressed rather creatively, who held up at gunpoint the Sovereign Bank in Woodlynne on Feb. 27. The pair entered the bank at 2400 Mount Ephraim Avenue at 10:20 a.m. and confronted a teller in the lobby. They displayed a firearm and followed her to the counter, where they received an undisclosed amount of cash. Both fled, likely on foot. On Thursday, Haddon Township resident Gregory Gawrysiak was arrested for possession of illegal firearms that police say he purchased with a fake I.D. in Pennsylvania.
