Police say three men activated gift cards and stole cash from the register, knocking over a store manager in the process.
UPDATE: Dec. 24, 2012: Oaklyn police chief Joseph Abbate announced today that three arrest warrants have been issued for suspects wanted in connection with the Dec. 12 robbery of the CVS pharmacy. According to the announcement, the names of the individuals being sought were withheld pending completion of the investigation. Abbate also credits the assistance of detectives from the Pennsauken Police Department in preparing the warrants, which were issued Dec. 21. Police say the strong-arm robbery was reportedly initiated by a man who entered the store at 5 p.m. Dec. 12, shielding his face from cameras with a long-sleeved, dark blue CVS employee shirt. Oaklyn Police collared Haddon Township’s Raymond T. Steinhagen Wednesday for reportedly assaulting a woman at CVS on Aug. 8. Police had put out a call for the suspect’s identity after capturing his image on surveillance footage at the White Horse Pike store, just over the Collingswood border. Steinhagen, 50, allegedly assaulted a female victim in CVS on Aug. 8. At the time, police said they had no motive for the attack, but believed the suspect lived in the area. The victim wasn’t seriously injured. Officials identified Steinhagen, 50, from the footage, as well as a search for the suspect's physical description in a police data bank. Steinhagen previously pleaded guilty to burglary, and in 2010 was sentenced to 180 days in county jail and …

Oaklyn Police are seeking help from the public in identifying a middle-aged man who allegedly assaulted a female victim in the Oaklyn CVS at 8:40 p.m. August 8. Pharmacy cameras have captured video of the alleged assailant entering the store. He is described as a blond, 6-foot, white male, approximately 40-50 years old, and thinly built. In the security footage, he is shown wearing a green shirt with thin white stripes, tan shorts, and work boots. The victim did not sustain serious injury. Police have identified no motive for attack; they do believe the suspect resides in the area.
