Collingswood Boys' Basketball Season to Feature New Faces

Basketball season is nearing, and new players may mix-up a recipe for success.

At the end of the 2007-2008 season, the Collingswood Panthers boys' basketball team was on top of the mountain—the undisputed winners of South Jersey's Colonial Conference. But the following season was split into two different divisions. And while the Panthers won the conference's Liberty Division in each year since, head coach Joe McLoughlin said the Panthers simply haven't felt the same satisfaction topping only half of the conference. Now, though, with the 2010-11 season almost underway, McLoughlin faces a new challenge. He's heading into a season in which seven key players have graduated.
