Communicating Tons of Events is Easy With Your Own TV Channel
Case-in-point: Collingswood Borough's constant stream of events and activities is so great, the borough has its own television channel to keep locals updated.
What's a borough to do when its constant flow of upcoming events needs to constantly be announced? Operate its own local television channel, of course. If you're a borough resident, you've likely stumbled upon Collingswood Television (CTV) while flipping channels. Channel 44 for Verizon customers and channel 19 for Comcast customers, CTV is a wholly volunteer-driven borough effort. "All our programming is submitted or produced by a group of volunteers that are interested in putting together shows for the station," said Borough Communication Director Cass Duffey.
