Three Panthers Earn No. 1 Seeds in District 28 Wrestling Tournament
Collingswood's Mike Campbell, Alex Irwin and John Deaner will be No. 1 seeds in this weekend's District 28 Wrestling Tournament.
The team portion of the wrestling season saw great success for the Collingswood High School wrestling program. Now it is time for the individuals to shine. The NJSIAA released the District 28 Wrestling Tournament seeds, and a host of Panthers wrestlers find themselves in great position to advance to regions. Mike Campbell, Alex Irwin and John Deaner headline the list as No. 1 seeds in their respective weight classes. Campbell (30-5) is the favorite at the 160-pound weight class with Haddon Heights’ Julien Faison slated as the No. 2 seed. The two grapplers met in January with Campbell scoring a 5-2 decision.
