Man, this would up our street cred by at least 50%.

I love this idea! And Joe, you and I being on Haddon Ave is an instant boost to street cred!

Love the idea. Agree that if it isn't possible, please look into Haddon Township! We would love theRead More idea and do not have a grocery store on Haddon Avenue.

Food and Water Watch is a remarkable organization doing its best to protect the purity of ourRead More environment. There are simple actions all of us can take to keep fracking waste out of our communities, for example, that really can make a difference. Don't let politicians decide our fate (you know EXACTLY what choices they'll make). Let's get together on this. We have voices, but we haven't been heard yet.

We are certainly very, very proud of our OMers and very thankful to the coaches and other parentRead More volunteers. Looking forward to Iowa State in 2014.

What is the pay?
Matt Skoufalos (Editor) August 28, 2012 at 03:16 pm
Your rewards are the knowledge that you're helping improve the conditions for all your fellowRead More riders! In dollar terms, the figure is zero.
Andy Sharpe August 28, 2012 at 03:42 pm
Hi D M J, Andy Sharpe at DVARP here. I wish we could pay, but we're a small non-profit on anRead More extremely tight budget. As Matt said, the reward will be a better experience riding PATCO. If anyone is interested, shoot me an e-mail at sharpe@dvarp.org.

All the dishes available at the festival were great! We also purchased several jars of peach salsa.Read More I;m going to serve some with my Sunday roast. What a good - and fun - idea this was.

Does anyone know if they are planning on patching up the chunk of concrete on the base of the LittleRead More Treehouse on the Prairie plaque? I have been emailing and calling the Mayor for weeks now to find out if the borough has any plans to call the original company back in to repair it, but have gotten absolutely no return emails or phone calls from him. There are Michael Landon fans all over the country who are ready to write a check to get this done already. Also, the Mayor told me that the boro had ordered a replacement rope net that had disintegrated over the years for the Little Treehouse. Was wondering if that is really true or if I need to fund raise for that too so that the original design can be restored. Anyone? Thanks...

Abbe, Will you let us know when the dedication is scheduled to take place. I know several peopleRead More who would like to attend.
Abbe Effron June 15, 2012 at 06:44 pm
The Mayor has no plans on having a re-dedication ceremony and I don't want to have one until theRead More base of the plaque is fixed. I do still want to have a re-dedication ceremony, but need to ( I guess) get permission from the boro first. I would also need permission to fix the concrete base if the Mayor is not going to authorize town funds for that purpose. Don't want people to read in the paper that I got arrested for tampering with park property (lol). Everything is at a standstill till the Mayor gets back to me, which he hasn't for months now. Guess I will have tp talk to him in person to get an answer one way or another. I am still at a loss as to why he doesn't seem to care. I mean, if it was a plaque dedicated to his grandmother, he would want it to be perfect and done right. There are some Michael Landon fans from other states that will be visiting Collingswood in September to see the Little Treehouse and plaque and I would like this all to be fixed by then. Remember, these fans will probably be patronizing the shops and restaurants in town contributing to the revenue of Collingswood. So can't we please fix this already? Sorry, Shirley, didn't mean to ramble. I will make sure to let the press know if and when the re-dedication ceremony is. Would like to get Cindy Landon here as well. Will keep you posted. Thanks for your interest.
