I went to Drew some time ago...and everyone, including myself, loved George..He always wasRead More realistic, but had a funny spin or a funny story to share to make everyone anywhere laugh...and always made a person feel good. I want more of the George type of person around in the world as there does not seem to be many at all.

This make me very sad. Rebhorn was a true gentleman - the quiet and gentle sort of a person whoRead More understood what really matters in life. Jim communicated this sincere knowing through his honest, open conversations whether in passing on the running track, during community events, or when interviewed. He was a great actor and a wonderful person. He touched a lot of people - what a loss for all of us. I am sending Jim's family prayerful and caring thoughts.

"LET ALL COLLINGSWOOD HIGH SCHOOL ALUMNI REMEMBER.... 'Eugene Orowitz' Class of 1955 whoRead More became known as 'Michael Landon' ! WE NICKNAMED HIM AS 'OOgie' ( short for 'Eugene' ) AND HE WAS EXTREMELY WELL-LIKED. 'Oogie' PLAYED VARSITY FOOTBALL ON OUR UNDEFEATED 'Panthers' TEAM AND HE WAS REALLY GREAT IN TRACK & FIELD EVENTS ! HE ACTUALLY WON A SCHOLARSHIP FOR BREAKING A NATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL RECORD FOR.... THROWING JAVELIN ! I STILL HAVE SOME OF MY 'Joisey Accent' AND I 'YOOST' TO PRACTICE THROWING HIS JAVELIN ON THAT GRASSY AREA ALONG THE CREEK BEHIND YOUR HIGH SCHOOL ! OF COURSE, 'Oogie' ALWAYS THREW IT FARTHER THAN I COULD !.... WHEN I GRAD.... I ENLISTED USAFSS AND WAS STATIONED NEAR RIVERSIDE, CA BUT.... DUE TO KINDA CLASSIFIED DIUTIES.... I NEVER GOT TO MEET WITH 'Oogie' AGAIN ! I WISH THAT 'YALL' COLLINGSWOOD HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS DO AS WELL AS 'Oogie' DID DURING HIS SENIOR YEAR !.... HERE'S A GOOD ONE > 'Oogie' WAS VOTED AS 'Class Clown' IN YOUR YEARBOOK 'The Kinight' AND LOOK AT HOW SUCCESSFUL HE BECAME !.... HIS ENGLISH TEACHER WAS 'Miss Roler' AND EUGENE DID WRITE MANY OF THE SCRIPTS FOR HIS TV SHOWS AND MOVIES !.... TRY TO FIND THE MOVIE 'Sam's Son' AND SEE MUCH OF HIS YOUNGER DAYS IN COLLINGSWOOD.... from Bob Huff in Texas U.S.A. ....

This death is a great loss, as are all the other deaths and people suffering permanent disabilityRead More from the war caused by the criminals in power in the US who lied us into the stupid war on bogus premises. Bush, Cheney, Rumsfeld, Rice, Powell, should all be brought up on charges of being war criminals. The media should also be held accountable, in addition to all those rah-rah "We're #1" Americans who shouted down everyone who tried to stop it. I apologize Lance Cpl. Curtis A. Nice right up Matt. His passion will be missed for sure. And as a side note, this area isRead More fortunate to have such great professional fans such as Didinger and Sabol, those two have given us the game as we know it today, just amazing. I still love to watch the NFL Films archives, something about the game was pure back then, much more raw and honest, and I'm for one thankful that Sabol brought that to us. RIP Steve Sabol
