I like Woksabi. Go there alot and think the service is great. In fact the last 2 times the guy was so funny he had my kids cracking up. I've never had a bad sushi roll at Woksabi. We used to go to Mercato but now Woksabi is our sushi place.

I have to say that I have never received such rude service as I have here. It is a shame because I really do enjoy the food. I will think twice about going here again. The last visit was the last straw. We asked for more time to look over the menu and we literally got an eye roll. I almost got up and left immediately but my husband stopped me. I have never been so uncomfortable in my life. I was just not able to enjoy the meal after that...and trust me the service did not get much better.

Have been going almost weekly since it opened. I just find that story hard to believe.

We visited Woksabi due to a living social deal. The wairess told us the deal reduced the bill to $19.56-below the restaurants ridiculous $20 limit for using a credit card. I had just enough cash to cover the bill with me. She left the check folder a moment later without a word. We weren't comfortable with not leaving a tip. I suggested that we visit the cashier, and see if a charge could be put on the card for the balance of the tip. If that didn't work I planned to run to an ATM. Before I coule do that, waitress picked up the check folder, and asked if she could take it. No one got the chance to respond before she opened it, whipped around to the table and said "So that's it? I don't get nothing?" Everyone at my table was dumbstruck. I've had awful service before, but this was still a shock. I tried to be polite and asked about charging the tip. She shrugged and walked away.
Obviously this was well past whether or not the woman was getting a tip. On our way out we asked for the manager. We told her what had happened. Her response was to say that what the waitress had done was "very rude," that's it. When she realized we were expecting a more substantial response she said "is there something I can do for you?" I'm not sure what she was expecting. Maybe she thought we were as tactless as her staff and would ask for a free meal. Either way, we just headed out.
Between the stunningly rude waitress, and ambivalent manager, I cannot tell you to avoid Woksabi strongly enough.
