This weekend, is offering a promotion that will help kick your Spring yard work into high gear while throwing some much-needed support behind the marching band.
When you shop at the garden center Saturday, April 14, and Sunday, April 15, 15% of your purchase of any retail garden items will be donated to the CHS marching band. Just mention the Panthers at check-out. (Delivery and special orders do not apply.)
"Anything you can buy and take here -- bags of mulch, bags of dirt, rakes, fertilizers, and firewood," is eligible for the donation, said Julie Warner.
"We have annuals, hanging baskets, perennials, and bushes; everything from alyssums to beaugonias and petunias. We have herbs and vegetables, including oregano, parsley, tomatoes, peppers, and eggplants. We also have geraniums in the hanging baskets," she said.
The marching band fundraiser promotion is not the first community outreach overseen at the shop. In December, the couple sponsored a program to retrieve Norway spruces it sold as Christmas trees at its shop and re-plant them in Knight Park.
"Andrew [Warner] and I both graduated from Collingswood High School, and we love doing whatever we can to support the town we live and work in," Julie Warner says.
Warner Landscape & Patio is located at 641 Haddon Avenue in Collingswood.
