Legendary drummer Charlie Rice with saxophonist Bootsie Barnes!

On December 5th, the Collingswood Jazz Bridge Neighborhood Concert Series continues with 93-year-old drummer Charlie Rice and his All-Stars, featuring saxophonist Bootsie Barnes. Rice has toured and recorded with Louis Jordan, Chet Baker, Charlie Parker, and Harry "Sweets" Edison. Bootsie Barnes has been a local and international name on the saxophone for many years, recording many albums as a leader and with other jazz artists. Appearing with Rice and Barnes will be organist Dan Kostalnick, a mainstay in organ trios in the area.
