Collingswood Girls Basketball Earns No. 6 Seed in NJSIAA Group 2 Playoffs
The Panthers will open at home against No. 11 Buena.
Fans of the Collingswood High School girls basketball team will have at least one chance to get to see the Panthers in a home playoff game.
The NJSIAA released its girls basketball playoff brackets today, and the Panthers were slotted as the No. 6 seed in South Jersey Group 2.
Collingswood (14-6) will host No. 11 Buena in the first round. An official date has not been selected but first-round games must be completed by Feb. 25.

Playing out of the Cape-Atlantic League, Buena has grinded out a 10-8 record, which included victories in three of its last four.
The two teams did not meet during the regular season but share three common opponents: West Deptford, Woodbury and GCIT. Buena defeated West Deptford (38-24), Woodbury (32-24) and GCIT (43-28), while Collingswood beat West Deptford twice (37-20, 43-16) Woodbury (33-29) and GCIT (37-14).

If the Panthers can get past the Chiefs, they will take on the winner of No. 3 Cinnaminson/No. 14 Bridgeton.
Willingboro is the No. 1 seed and Middle Township is the No. 2 seed. Other local teams that qualified include: Deptford (No.9), Haddonfield (No. 10) and West Deptford (No. 16).
