Collingswood Football Team Downs Audubon

The boys' soccer team shut out Gateway, and the girls' soccer team battled Woodbury to a tie this week.

The Collingswood High School football team scored in each quarter en route to a 27-6 win over Audubon, according to nj.com.

Allen Valentine got the scoring going in the first quarter with a 4-yard touchdown run.

In the second quarter, it was 67-yard touchdown pass from Jordan Wallace to Steven Copeland that gave the Panthers a 14-0 halftime lead.

Anthony Rivera kept the scoring going in the third quarter with a score on the ground from 2 yards out.

Jahmir King capped the scoring with a 7-yard touchdown run in the fourth.

Collingswood improved to 5-1 and visits Haddonfield on Friday night, 7 p.m.

Boys' soccer

Collingswood 1, Gateway 0: Dan Coyle had the game-winning goal in the second half. He beat Gateway goalie Matt Pitzo, who otherwise made 13 saves on the day.

Goalie Patrick O’Donnell made three saves for Collingswood.

Girls' soccer

Collingswood 2, Woodbury 2: Lauren Glaze scored both goals for Collingswood, who battled to a tie for the second time this season.

The Panthers took a 1-0 lead into halftime, but the Thundering Herd charged back in the second, outscoring Collingswood, 2-1.
