Collingswood Football Rebounds With Rout of Haddon Heights

The Panthers pounded Haddon Heights, 36-7.

One week after suffering its first loss of the season, the Collingswood High School football team rebounded with a lopsided victory of its own.

The Panthers defeated Haddon Heights, 36-7, on Friday night, according to nj.com.

The victory helped Collingswood improve to 4-1 this season. The Panthers host Audubon on Friday night, 7 p.m.

Last week, Collingswood suffered its first loss of the season, 34-7, to West Deptford. The Eagles are still undefeated.

Boys' soccer

Haddonfield 1, Collingswood 0: Ryan Ciemny put Haddonfield over the top with the only goal of the game, off an assist from Jeff Sabatini. Goalie Jonathan Baxter made two saves to preserve the shutout.

 

Collingswood 1, Haddon Heights 0: Michael Giordano scored the only goal of the game, with an assist from Mike Campbell, as Collingswood moved to 6-9 for the season.

Goalie Jack Grassi made 18 stops to preserve the shutout.

Girls' soccer

Haddonfield 4, Collingswood 0: Shallyn Hatcher had a goal and an assist as four different Bulldogs put a goal on the board.

Kylie Kirk, Lauren Roberts and Mary Sabia each posted a goal. Kaitlyn Bonnet had three assists. Grace Baccare added another assist.

 

Haddon Heights 4, Collingswood 0: Regan Tustin led the way with two goals in the win. Ally Glickman had a goal and an assist, and Hannah Costello provided a goal in the win.

Morgan Driver, Alex Pease and Kacie Pisani each had an assist, as Haddon Heights improved to 9-5-1 for the season.

 

Haddon Heights 2, Audubon 2: Alex Pease and Regan Tustin had the goals for Haddon Heights, while Hannah Costello provided the assist.

 

Haddon Heights 2, Sterling 0: Ally Glickman and Regan Tustin each found the back of the net for Haddon Heights in its shutout victory.
