Haven't we been on this road before?

Obama wants to give low income people mortgages, again!

I noticed this week our wonderful President is pushing the banks and mortgage institutions to start making home loan financing available for folks with less than "good credit".

Also duly noted and mentioned that if these institutions do lend this money "the government" won't hold them responsible if the financing goes "belly up"? I have also noticed in the last 6 month that banks like Bank of America is back "selling" ARM's (adjustable rate mortgages).

I find it hard to believe ANYONE would even suggest this kind of financing these days. There are still a ton of "toxic mortgages" on the books from the last go round! The housing bubble burst back in 2007-08 and since then our economy has been in the toilet, unemployment astronomical (do NOT believe those figures the government puts out, they are at least twice what they profess).

I keep wondering when Obama is going to get out of "Campaign Mode" and become the leader of the most powerful country in the world and DO HIS REAL JOB?

The housing industry is just now after more than 4 years starting to get back on its feet from the last disaster.....is Obama trying to push us back into a re-play of 2007-08 for political reasons? I'm not quite sure. But I do know is this rehash of a bad idea crops up again and the banks start lending to those who cannot legitimately qualify for a mortgage (and the government gives them a pass if the loan fails) guess who ends up picking up the tab on this one AGAIN! Yup, you and me, John Q Public.

Aren't we overtaxed enough already?

When are those idiots in Washington DC going to "get it"........GET YOUR PAWS OUTA MY WALLET!
