The Week Ahead: Collingswood Sports

October means more action for Collingswood High School athletes.

As we roll our calendars over into October, Panthers teams have yet another full week of athletic action. Be sure to come out and support your local athletes!

 

Football—

Coming off of a 25-6 loss against Haddon Heights this past Saturday, Panthers coach Jack McConnell’s team looks to rebound with a home game against Overbrook High School on Friday.

Boys’ Soccer—

The 4-5 Panthers look to better their record with three games this week. Boys travel to Lindenwold High School on Monday, followed by a home game against Haddon Heights High School Wednesday, and an away game against Overbrook High School this Friday.

 

Girls’ Soccer—

Panthers host Lindenwold on Monday, then travel to Haddon Heights High School Wednesday to take on the Garnets. The girls will wrap-up the week with a home game on Friday against Overbrook High School.

 

Field Hockey—

The 7-2 Panthers have a Tuesday night game at Haddon Heights High School, and then travel to Overbrook on Thursday for a rematch of their Sept. 16 game, which Panthers won 7-0.

 

Tennis—

Coach Miles Holland’s squad sports a 7-3 record, and will look to improve that this week as they take on Woodbury High School at home on Monday, travel to Woodstown on Tuesday, host West Deptford Wednesday, and wrap up a busy week with an away match at Sterling High School on Thursday.

 

Cross-Country—

The Panthers travel to Pennypacker Park on Tuesday for a quad meet that also features Sterling and Haddon Township high schools.
