Southern New Jersey GLBTQ Pride will be hosting its annual “OUT in the Park” picnic Sunday, September 9, from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m. at the Armitage Pavilion at Cooper River Park. There is no fee to attend and the event will be held whether it’s bright and sunny or dark and rainy.
Those who attend are encouraged to bring their own grills, grub, libations, chairs and tables, and blankets; anything to enhance your comfort.
A variety of workshops on topics such as tax preparation and financial planning will be offered. An officiant will be on hand to perform civil unions for those couples ready to take the plunge. And a full slate of entertainment will be presented, including music, drag performances, and hip-hop and square dance performances.
