DOT Announces Overnight Route 295 Ramp Work

Roadwork will be completed overnight at several ramps nearby Gloucester Township.

The state Department of Transportation has announced a series of ramp closures along Route 295 that may impact residents over the next several nights.

Contractors Pierson Construction and South State, Inc. will be milling and paving the exit ramps for Route 30 (White Horse Pike) eastbound and westbound, off northbound Route 295.

Exit 29A onto Route 30 eastbound will be closed tonight beginning at 9 p.m. The ramp will remain closed until about 1 a.m. Saturday, at which time the westbound exit ramp will be closed.

Exit 29B will remain closed till about 9 a.m. Saturday.

The ramps will again be closed for the paving project overnight Monday into Tuesday. The Exit 29A ramp onto Route 30 eastbound will be closed from 9 p.m. Monday to about 1 a.m. Tuesday, while the Exit 29B ramp onto Route 30 westbound will be closed from 1 to 5 a.m. about Tuesday.

Traffic will be redirected to Exit 31 to Oak Avenue to Warwick Road to Route 30, the DOT said.
