Construction on the project is scheduled to begin in September.

Collingswood officials have announced plans to install a traffic island with a fountain in the center in an effort to slow down traffic on Haddon Avenue, the Courier Post reports.

The median, which will be about 15 feet wide, will be placed on the 600 block of Haddon Avenue, between the LumberYard and Sapori, according to the report.

Funds for the $150,000 project will come from the LumberYard project, and construction is set to begin in September, according to the report.
