Collingswood Holiday Tree Lighting Pictures

Haddon Avenue was blocked off from Collings to Lincoln avenues Friday night, the streets were jammed with carousing neighbors, and Santa descended from the top of Borough Hall to the cheers of hundreds in the official kickoff to the holiday season in Collingswood.

Yet it was all but a precursor to the excitement that is to follow Saturday morning, as the marquee holiday parade of the region kicks off a busy day in town.

It's Small Business Saturday in the borough, T-shirts for relief victims are available for pickup, and First Baptist Church is having a huge model railroad show.
