Woman Struck by Vehicle at Routes 30 and 130

Leslie Riedel was hit by a passing car. In April, her ex-husband allegedly stabbed her boyfriend inside the apartment all three shared.

A woman whose ex-husband allegedly stabbed her boyfriend in the chest during a in April suffered more bad luck this weekend. 

Leslie Riedel, 45, was struck by a passing vehicle as she tried to cross the intersection at routes 30 and 130 about 11:10 p.m. Saturday. 

Riedel was walking outside a marked crosswalk and against a pedestrian traffic signal when she was struck at the heavily traveled intersection, police said.

After she was struck, Riedel was rushed to the Trauma Unit at Cooper University Hospital in Camden with unspecified injuries. 

A hospital spokeswoman was unable to provide information about Riedel's condition on Monday.

cited Riedel for failure to use a designated crosswalk and improper crossing of a roadway. 

The driver of the vehicle, 42-year-old Jacquelin Walker of Camden, was not cited in the incident. 

In April, Reidel's ex-husband, Gregory Riedel, 60, was charged with attempted murder in the stabbing of her boyfriend inside an apartment all three shared at the Heights of Collingswood apartment complex.
