Stray Rounds In Shootout Injures Two

Camden County Prosecutor Mary Eva Colalillo said two people were injured when stray rounds entered their homes in Sicklerville early Monday morning.

Camden County Prosecutor Mary Eva Colalillo said two people were injured when stray rounds entered their homes in Sicklerville early Monday morning.

A 13-year-old girl was struck with a bullet in her lower back, as she was sleeping in the living room of a home on the first block of Hathaway Drive. She was transported to Cooper Hospital in Camden and was in stable condition.

The second victim, a 56-year-old woman, who also lives on the same block of Hathaway, was cut by broken glass from her bedroom window, which was shattered by bullets. She as treated by EMS at the scene but declined going to the hospital.
