Robber Hits the Inn of the Dove, Police Say

The incident happened around 7:40 a.m. Tuesday, police said.

Cherry Hill Police are seeking the public's help in trying to identify a man they say robbed a clerk at the Inn of the Dove on Cuthbert Boulevard Tuesday morning.

The alleged robber, described as a roughly 35-year-old black man with a full beard, wearing a blue jacket and cap, vaulted through the window separating the lobby from the inn's office around 7:40 a.m., police said, and attacked a woman working at the desk before stealing cash from the register.

The man ran off from the inn following the robbery, which was captured on surveillance video, police said.
