Police Seek Suspect in Friday Morning Murder

Andrew Perez, 31, was shot multiple times shortly after 3 a.m. while in the driver's seat of a silver 2005 Honda Civic at South 9th Street and Atlantic Avenue in Camden.

Law enforcement officials are searching for a suspect who shot and killed a Camden man early Friday morning, Camden County Prosecutor Warren Faulk and Camden County Police Chief Scott Thomson announced Friday afternoon.

Andrew Perez, 31, was shot multiple times shortly after 3 a.m. while in the driver’s seat of a silver 2005 Honda Civic at South 9th Street and Atlantic Avenue. After the shooting the vehicle drove into several parked cars before stopping at 9th Street and Lansdowne Avenue.

Anyone with information on the killing is urged to contact Camden County Prosecutor’s Office Detective Anthony Roccia at (856) 365-3122 or Camden County Police Detective Mark Lee at (856) 757-7420.
