Police Investigate Break-In at Collingswood Auto Business

The owner of D.J. Enterprises Auto Sales reported a break-in during the first week of 2014.

Collingswood police are investigating reports of a break-in that resulted in criminal mischief at a Route 130 automotive business.

Sometime between January 4 and January 6, the owner of D.J. Enterprises in the 200 block of Route 130 reported that someone broke out a two-foot-by-two-foot panel on the garage door of the business, which had been closed and locked.

Inside the shop, the offender(s) reportedly threw parts from several engine blocks around the shop and covered the floor in motor oil. Police believe that the alleged burglar may have fallen and left a cell phone behind.
