A computer check was conducted on the vehicle's passenger, Toms, which revealed three active warrants for her arrest.

Police said all three warrants were issued from Camden City Municipal Court, holding a combined total bail of $2,436.

When advised she was being placed under arrest, police said Toms surrendered a hypodermic syringe to responding officers.

Both individuals were transported to Collingswood Police Department, where police said Toms was charged with possession of CDS and possession of a hypodermic syringe, and Freeland was charged with third-degree possession of CDS.

Police said Freeland was released on his own recognizance, and Toms was remanded to county jail.

According to reports, both Freeland and Toms are scheduled to appear in Camden City on May 13, at 8:30 a.m., for their respective Central Judicial Processing (CJP) hearings.
