Police said the perpetrator was identified as 25-year-old man Steven Bastow, a resident of Pitman Borough in Gloucester County.

Bastow was taken into custody, according to reports, and transported to Collingswood police headquarters.

During that time, police said it was learned the interior of the yacht club had been ransacked.

Bastow was charged with Burglary, and Criminal Mischief, said police, and a full-cash bail was set at $11,000.

Bastow was unable to post the required bail, according to police reports, and was remanded to county jail pending an appearance in Camden City's Central Judicial Processing (CJP) Court at 8:30 a.m. on Wednesday, August 24.

According to police, Bastow was apprehended by officers at Cooper River Yacht Club before any items were stolen.

Driving While Intoxicated (DWI)—

After observing a vehicle pulled to the side of the highway on Route 130 Southbound around 2:30 a.m. Thursday, August 11, officers stopped to question the driver.

According to police, the car's driver was identified as 56-year-old Collingswood man Brian K. Mooney.

While speaking with him, officers reportedly detected a strong odor of alcoholic beverage on Mooney's breath.

Mooney was requested to undergo roadside psychophysical sobriety testing, said police, after which officers determined he was intoxicated.

Mooney's vehicle was reportedly impounded, and he was transported to Collingswood police headquarters.

Once there, police said Mooney refused to submit to breath testing.

Police said Mooney was issued summonses for Careless Driving, Driving While Intoxicated (DWI), and Refusal to Submit to a Breath Test.

After being provided with copies of his summonses, said reports, Mooney was released to a sober adult, pending an appearance in Collingswood Municipal Court at 9:30 a.m. on Wednesday, August 17.
