Police Ask for Info on Possible Sexual Assault Victims

A Gloucester City man is under arrest for allegedly sexually assaulting two children; police want to know if any other reported incidents might be connected.

A Gloucester City man is under arrest for allegedly sexually assaulting two girls, and police want to know if there are any other reported victims.

Gregory A. Grant, 58, of Mercer Street, reportedly assaulted the two girls, 9 and 11, when he was living with his half-sister in Washington Township, Gloucester County. Grant, a dockworker in Gloucester City, lived with his sister from 2006 to 2011.

He was charged Tuesday with two counts of first-degree aggravated sexual assault, four counts of second-degree sexual assault and two counts of third-degree endangering the welfare of a child.

All of the alleged assaults occurred at the sister’s residence, according to the Gloucester County Prosecutor’s Office.

Grant was held on $150,000 cash bail, and ordered not to have contact with the alleged victims should he make bail.
