A 51-year-old Mount Ephraim man pleaded guilty Wednesday to killing an elderly woman with his pickup truck in a fatal hit-and-run on the Black Horse Pike in March.
Timothy Polijczuk is expected to be sentenced to six years in state prison, according to a statement from the Camden County Prosecutor's Office. His formal sentencing will be January 10.
Polijczuk was driving on a suspended license when he hit 67-year-old Joyce Putmon of Blackwood as she crossed the Black Horse Pike in Haddon Township on March 3.
Putmon was going from the Audubon Shopping Center to the bus stop when she was struck.
