Gas Station Attendant Stabbed in Woodlynne Robbery

Police are searching for a man in his early twenties, last seen driving a grey Mazda 8. Anyone with information is asked to help.

A Woodlynne gas station attendant was stabbed in the lower back in an afternoon robbery the day after Christmas.

The incident occurred around 1 p.m. Thursday at the Citgo Gas Station at the intersection of Mt. Ephraim and Ferry Avenues, according to authorities.

Eighteen-year-old attendant Rukman Sodi reportedly was stabbed in the lower back after refusing to turn over money to the alleged robber. Sodi was treated for his injuries at Cooper Medical Center, and was released.

Police are on the lookout for a medium-build white man in his early twenties, about five-feet-eight-inches tall. The suspect was last seen wearing an orange jacket, black pants and a white ski mask, and reportedly fled in a grey Mazda 8 with tinted windows.
