Camden Man Accused of Armed Robbery Arrested in Woodlynne

County police and U.S. marshals captured Luther Yellock, who is accused of having stolen a bag of oxycodone at gunpoint on December 3.

A 25-year-old Camden man accused of stealing a bag of oxycodone at gunpoint from a home in the city was arrested Friday in Woodlynne, according to authorities.

On December 3, Camden County police said Luther Yellock visited residents of a home on Chesapeake Road, people who were known to him. 

Inside, Yellock allegedly threatened a man and a woman at gunpoint, took a bag of 90 oxycodone pills, and ran out the back door of the home.

He was arrested without incident at an apartment in the 1600 block of Woodlynne Road by Camden County police and the U.S. Marshals Fugitive Task Force.

Yellock was charged with robbery, possession of a weapon, unlawful possession of a weapon and aggravated assault. He was remanded to the Camden County jail on default of $707,500 cash-or-bond bail.
