Mount Holly Kicks-Off Holiday Season With Annual Tree Lighting and Parade

Come ring in the holiday season and celebrate with your community, family and friends at Mount Holly’s Annual Holiday Parade and Tree Lighting ceremony on Wednesday, December 11, 2013 from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m (Please note: this event’s date has changed due to rainy weather forecasts). This family-friendly event is free and open to the public.

The township’s downtown area will be transformed into a Winter Wonderland with beautiful decorations to help get folks into the holiday spirit. The holiday parade will kick-off the evening’s festivities at 6:15 p.m. between Bartram and High Streets. Following the parade, children will have the opportunity to see Santa Claus help light the township’s new tree, located at the intersection of Washington and High Streets, with over 3,000 lights.

During the tree lighting ceremony, folks will enjoy live music by Sacred Heart Children’s Choir, the Rancocas Valley Choir and the Rancocas Valley Band performing all your holiday favorites. Free hot chocolate and cookies will be offered to all those who attend courtesy of Robin’s Nest and Mount Holly Township.
