FOR
IMMEDIATE RELEASE

First
Annual Miss Camden Teen Pageant Comes To Town

LETS GO CAMDEN!!! -
Here it comes…..The First Annual Miss Camden Teen Pageant.

CARESS` EMBRACEMENT
FOUNDATION (C.E.F.) Presents the First City Pageant for our beautiful
girls on August 10th
2013!!!!

“The deadline for
returning completed applications was April 21, 2013. We are proud
to announce we have had our first PRINCESS ACADEMY class!!! “I’m
so excited for the girls that have enrolled for this amazing
adventure”, says Caress Green Miss Camden Teen Pageant Executive
Director.

Once all applications were
turned in and all paperwork has been signed, the girls began the 8-10
week PRINCESS ACADEMY where each girl will learn mannerism,
etiquette, nutrition, poise, horticulture and other life skills.

“Camden City girls ages
12-14 will be vying for Miss Camden Princess and 15-18 will vie for
Miss Camden Teen Queen”, Green said.

“Miss Camden
Princess/Teen will appear at city events and represent the city and
in neighboring communities”, says Green. “They will also serve as
role models becoming leaders for younger girls to look up to”.

This is the First Annual
Miss Camden Teen Pageant since 1968. The committee is working toward
partnerships with individuals, organizations and city businesses to
help with educational scholarships and other prizes for girls that
are and will be involved in the pageant.

“All 15 girls are ready
and very excited and are looking forward to attending all of their
PRINCESS ACADEMY classes leading up to the pageant”, Green said.
She also added, the academy and the pageant needs support to ensure
they are successful. The contestants who are not successful at being
crowned will remain enrolled in the Princess Academy, as well as
continue the work in the community. They will remain eligible to be
crowned until they surpass the age requirements or they have been
crowned. Those crowned will remain at the academy as it will be year
round. Green is also seeking assistance with a larger location to
accommodate all the components of the academy.

Contestants will be judged
in four categories: talent, interview, platform and formal wear.
